Public bug reported:
After running apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade on a 1,5 year old
desktop Ubuntu 8.04 version, I can no longer see the status bar being
upgraded on splashy.
I launch the kernel in menu.lst using
title Student Training Station
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.24-24-generic root=/dev/sda1 ro quiet splash
student vga=791
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.24-24-generic
savedefault
Any ideas?
