Public bug reported:
The system reports that are available to download and install updates. I
come to update the system as usual and then download the packages, the
system starts to install. In the middle of the process, the system
freezes. Restart the computer manually and when the screen to enter
username and password appears the system freezes again.
Booting in recovery mode you can see an error message that says: "Can't
start Hardware abstraction layer - please ensure dbus is running".
