Public bug reported:
When you try to change the volume up,down or mute, it takes a while to
react, then changes the volume, but always to maximum or minimum. After
that, nothing can be selected. Clicking on menus at the top (Application
etc.) turns them blue as if they've been clicked on but no menu appears.
The only way of getting out of it is to press the power button and use
the keyboard shortcut to restart it.
