Public bug reported:
After rebooting with "sudo shutdown -r now" (or -h) the upper and lower
bars of the Xfce desktop do not appear!
The user has to
- press ALT+F2
- enter "xfce4-panel &"
in order to restore the bars.
(Bug found on Xubuntu Jaunty.)
