If you have any other console commands to show relevant versions, I can
put those in too.
I should also clarify a few things. First, Synaptic was just an example.
This happens any time the gksu prompt appears. Second, I have
thinkfinger integration enabled (via /usr/lib/pam-thinkfinger/pam-
thinkfinger-enable), and gksu also gives up after a single finger swipe.
