Updated karmic with the latest fixes as of 10am GMT. Rebooted. Ran the new app to launch cagvpn and this time it did not cause the "bug" as specified in this bug report. Either 1) The App has nothing to do with the crash 2) The crash is random 3) Something fixed it (there was a GDM update). The App itself still fails to let me access anything on the VPN which is probably a separate bug.
