Hi, This bug remained an issue with hardy....but with intrepid onwards.....it is no longer there...as i've already mentioned that feisty( & all previous ones starting from bridgy ) was doing fine with my hard disk.....& so is intrepid & jaunty....only hardy failed to recognize the same hard disk of mine....( i have not tested gutsy)....the reason is still beyond me...But since right now i am using intrepid,i no longer has any problem regarding this bug.
