My test case: After opening a capture file, I go to Statistics / Voip Calls, select the call I want played, then hit Player. Another window pops up where I could set the jitter, then hit 'Decode'. If I select one or both audio streams and hit "Play", nothing happens. When I then hit "Stop", wireshark hangs (all wireshark windows stop refreshing).
If I simply close the RTP Player window immediately after hitting "Decode", then I see the same error message described above: "Can not terminate the PortAudio library. Error: PortAudio not initialized". I'm running wireshark 1.0.7-1ubuntu1 and pulseaudio 1:0.9.14-0ubuntu20. Note: I am using ion2 instead of gnome, so I have PULSEAUDIO_SYSTEM_START=1 in /etc/default/pulseaudio . Note2: I see pulseaudio wants to upgrade -- I will try that just in case it helps. -- RTP play function does not work after upgrade to jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368543 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
