Sadly I did not receive notification about your earlier updates -- I only now received an update that this issue was being closed.
My laptop still freezes regularly, and all I need to do is select "AT&T Aircard" from my networking menu -- sometimes it reconnects without problems, but occasionally it hard locks the laptop. I always try and switch to the text console when this happens, but it has never once let me. In other words, CTRL + ALT + F1 (or F2, or F3, etc) does nothing when I get locked up like this. Is there any other way I can provide useful debugging information, considering that I'm unable to switch to a text console when the laptop is frozen?
