also, i'm not sure what should i do to test locally - adding the line
ENV{DMI_VENDOR}=="Logitech*", RUN+="keyymap $name <filename>"
and running
sudo service udev restart
doesn't make xev nor /lib/udev/keymap -i input/event6 recognize the keys
anymore, as far as i can tell.
