Hi Colin "ls -l /var/log/installer/syslog /var/log/syslog /var/log/partman" gives me the following message:
ls: /var/log/partman: No such file or directory -rw------- 1 root root 19076 2006-07-18 20:57 /var/log/installer/syslog -rw-r----- 1 root adm 73035 2006-07-20 15:13 /var/log/syslog I can't open either "/var/log/installer/syslog" or "/var/log/syslog" to view the contents, even as root and there is no "/var/log/partman" in the file manager.
