I've got the same issue.
It seems a fix have been released from the mousetweaks developpers, but not yet 
avaible in Ubuntu.

See the changelog of the 2.26.3 version below :

It is possible to compile mousetweaks from the tarball avaible here : 
http://ftp.acc.umu.se/pub/GNOME/sources/mousetweaks/2.26/

I hope the package could be updated on the Ubuntu Jaunty repository.
