Public bug reported:
Hi,
I am using Ubuntu 9.04 with 2.6.28-14-generic kernel on Asus Eee PC 701.
My webcam used to work fine with original Xandros and EasyPeasy (based
on Ubuntu 8.10), but on Jaunty Jackalope something is wrong with
automatic exposure. When I start "Cheese", there is a brief moment when
the image is fine (it might be just a single frame), but immediately it
becomes dark and grainy. I have tried "v4l2ucp". It lets me to change
the image's brightness, but it still looks more like some post
processing - image remains terribly grainy. This cannot be even
considered a workaround for this issue. Please let me know if any logs
are needed.
Thanks,
Konrad
