Public bug reported:
In the last week (I dont remember all packages I updated, but remember
kernel 2.6.28.14.XX), I started found some problems with my wired
network. First it cant connect (two diferent networks), loosing some
packages (checked for ping).
After workarounds with NetworkManager, and get out nm-applet (trying
first with KnetworkManager and Kdenetwork-plasmoid), I noticed that auto
wired networks (by dhcp) weren't correctly routed at boot in
NetworkManager: I needed to manually click in KnetworkManager or
K-plasmoid (yes, just a click for reconnect) to get wired networks up).
Then, yesterday I found that my SDCard reader is not working more (this
is a common usb device embended [low end notebook!]). "Cat" at
.../log/messages shows that devices (sdbx, sdcx) are correctly created,
but Devices-Notification-Painel, in KDE4, doesn't show them.
Two problems appear to be hal or dbus related, but I really dont know.
The only other suspicious message I found was a pulseaudio related, at boot:
hda-intel: IRQ timing workaround is activated for card #0. Suggest a bigger
