Hmm well I looked at the website and it doesnt seem to be actively maintained.
Ive reworked the sentence you suggested Well there is a difference between the programs but I only really have experience with pitivi and kino. Id very much recommend pitivi because kino edits only .dv files the rest it has to convert from .avi to .dv and pitivi because its based on gstreamer can edit anything.
