I got exactly same problem. Is that everything OK with kernel 2.6.30 really?
My ethernet card status is like below And I found the latest driver of RTL8111 driver , it was released 5th May 2009. I didn't install it yet. But I prefer to modify kernel instead of setting driver manually. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *-network description: Ethernet interface product: RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller vendor: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. physical id: 0 bus info: p...@0000:01:00.0 logical name: eth0 version: 02 serial: 00:1c:c0:70:fc:a5 size: 1GB/s capacity: 1GB/s width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm msi pciexpress msix vpd bus_master cap_list ethernet physical tp mii 10bt 10bt-fd 100bt 100bt-fd 1000bt 1000bt-fd autonegotiation configuration: autonegotiation=on broadcast=yes driver=r8169 driverversion=2.3LK-NAPI duplex=full ip=192.168.0.2 latency=0 link=yes module=r8169 multicast=yes port=MII speed=1GB/s -- Realtek RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller Unstable on Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/347711 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
