Thanks for the report and your stats. The best way to get this fixed is to test this with a live CD of Karmic. This is because Ubuntu generally only allows stable release updates for security flaws. Could you please test suspend/resume in karmic (http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/)? If suspend/resume works properly on the default liveCD but does not work with Karmic + EMERALD, we should reassign this bug to emerald.
Information on further suspend/resume debugging is available at: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspendHibernateResume. ** Changed in: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- hibernate / suspend RESUME failure on 64 bit 9.04 w/ EMERALD https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/404823 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
