Details of an lircd.conf for this remote are given at
http://cjo20.net/remote.htm. Using these instructions I was able to get all
buttons working under Mythbuntu 8.04. Note: In both Mythbuntu 8.04 and 9.04 the
numeric keys, ok, clear and enter etc work out of the box without configuring
lirc as (I think) it appears as a USB keyboard. In 9.04 the power button in top
right acts as a suspend button and will cause the pc to suspend if allowed.
Under Mythbuntu 9.04 using the same lircd.conf I can only get some of the
buttons in the top half of the remote to work. There is a work around program
provided at http://linux.thaj.net63.net/cyberlinkusb/. I haven't tried this yet.
Apparent this remote works ok under kernel 2.6.29
(http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=f14f526d02b14fd0b8c1ac4ec413e4577ad5f62e)

This remote is discussed at
http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=39433.

Hopefully, this information will be useful as it would very useful to
get this cheap remote working out of the box.
