Hi there, I have the same problem using Atheros wireless on my acer aspire one, using UBUNTU 9.03 It looks like the connection breaks because the beacon carrying the SSID sent by the AP does not reach my notebook. I scanned for channels that are available, I was using the same channel as one of my neighbors.
