Public bug reported:
When booting live-cd screen is completely black, no visual feedback. I can hear
the welcome sound when entering gnome, but screen still black. Only visual is
the mouse-cursor which I can move freely.
I have tried to boot in safe graphic mode, but that does not work either.
I also tried changing the line "kernel=blahblah preseed casper... quiet splash
--" in boot-menu. I replaced the "splash" with i915.modeset=0 but still the
same.
Other errors along the way is:
1. Stdin: error 0
2. end_request: I/O error, dev sr0
3. [some integer] Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block
4. Ata2:00: exception Emask
Please see attachment with output from command
# lspci -nnvv
