This was caused by an incorrect LANGCODE I added to kde-l10n-eu meaning
the wrong desktop*.po files were downloaded.
Fixed in Karmic in 4.2.98-0ubuntu2, patch for jaunty-proposed attached
(still need to wait for new langpacks to appear though).
