Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet

Ubuntu 9.04 32-bit (clean install), nvidia 7600 GS, all patches up to today,
185.18.14 installed from x-updates PPA (same problem with ubuntu shipped
restricted driver 180.44), using 2 separate screens, no compiz. Steps to
reproduce: login user A, switch (login) user B via fast-user-switch applet, try
to switch back to user A, xserver from user A crashes. Sometimes takes a
certain number of switches.
Attached xorg.conf and all the logs I could find. If needed, can also supply
apport crash log.
Syslog doesn't contain anything useful, just this: gdm[3151]: WARNING:
gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0

a...@jaunty32:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04

Problem also noticed in 9.04 64-bit, default ubuntu restricted driver,
and with 185.18.14 installed from nvidia binary.
