Hi,
There was an update that seemed to fix it, but also the issue is resolved w/me
because I upgraded to 9.04 (I think).
Thanks,
Paula

Subject: [Bug 247117] Re: hardy update screwed up wifi??

Hi, you reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity
in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Thanks
in advance.

Status in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
I now have no wifi. When I click on the network indicator in the upper right
hand corner of the screen, there is not even an option for wireless. I don't
understand ANY of the workaround that seem to relate to this issue. I"m totally
new to Ubuntu and this is all a foreign language to me. Do I have to go back to
Windows? :(

Thank you for reporting this bug. Please add the output of lspci -vv and dmesg.
This will help us to find your problem.*

If I even understood what that meant I would...but I don't, sorry.
