Public bug reported:

My wireless dongle - ADDON GWU180 - worked fine in 8.10, but since upgrading
cannot connect to my home network. I have an old Advent 6412 laptop with USB
1.1. It did connect once but I only managed to download a few bytes before it
stopped working again. I am still new to not just Ubuntu but linux generally
and not really sure what I am doing. The ethernet connection is still OK, and
the dongle still works on other platforms.
Anyone who can help me please use "blonde" language.
