======================================================

Before upgrading to Karmic last weekend (on Jaunty) I was able to save via
FTP/SFTP. However, I am not able to do so any longer as gedit provides an error
and does not tell me what the error is. I have to run gedit from the terminal
in order to find out what the error is.

Error is as follows:

** (gedit:8384): CRITICAL **: document_saved: assertion `error->domain
== G_CONVERT_ERROR' failed

I'm willing to supply whatever is necessary.

** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: apport-collected
