Same problem here. Using kernel 2.6.28-13-generic #45-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 30 22:12:12 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux and Firefox 3.0.12. This has only occurred in the last week or so. I've attached a screenshot. When I save the file by right-clicking and selecting 'Save as' the default filename and folder are displayed. I then click on 'OK'. The file is still saved to the PC.
