gparted allows resizeing of a hibernated ntfs partition. Gparted first
changes the size of the partition and then trys to run ntfsresize, which
refuses to do its work on a hibernated ntfs partition. Therefore you get
left with a not correctly resized partition.
Somthing like a precheck might be useful.
