The latest GSPCA version is OK with 2.6.31-3. I made a first submission to the GSPCA (webcam driver framework upsteam) maintainer who in turn report several things to change in the driver. I made the changes and this "proof of concept" driver seems to be OK with the two sensors that were tested. I still need to change one thing in the driver and once done request for final tests for all 4 managed sensors. Then the driver will be submitted again.
The page http://gl860.sourceforge.net/ is no more up to date. The driver includes the detection of the sensor, however I think it needs to be improved although no issue has been reported about a wrong detected sensor. As far as I know only one tester is able to do that and he is in vacation for several weeks. -- Genesys Logic Webcam 05e3:0503 Not Working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215604 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
