Public bug reported: After upgrading sun-java6 packages to 6-14-0ubuntu1.8.04, I stopped being able to debug in Netbeans.
Then, I found this issue in netbeans.org (http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=167776) with a similar problem, but this one doesn't seem to be a Netbeans related bug. After several experiences, I found these results: - With any version of Java prior to 6-14 (previous sun-java6* packages and current openjdk6), debugging works fine. - with 6-14 packages, when I try to debug some app, after hitting some breakpoints (somtetimes the first time the breakpoint is hit), the 'Continue' button in Netbeans IDE becomes disable, as well as the shortcut key (F5) This problem affects (at least) Hardy Heron and Jaunty Jackalope. ** Affects: sun-java6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Problems (with event handling?) after upgrading to 6-14-0ubuntu1.8.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/408320 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
