No, "área" es femenino. Cuando una palabra de genero femenino empieza con "a" acentuada usa el árticulo masculino "el". Pasa lo mismo con agua, es femenino y decimos "el agua", pero también "las aguas" o "nuestras aguas". Debe ser "otra área"
