Yes, I saw that Maintainer: is written twice, but in the Debian package it is written only once (Maintainer: Maintainers of Vala packages <pkg- [email protected]>). So Debian is not affected.
vala is still in universe, that's why I have changed the maintainer to "Ubuntu MOTU Developers <[email protected]>" (v2).
