i have just installed jaunty on my HP ProBook 4411s, using a Wubi set-up
under Windows 7 RTM.
i googled a lot and found the thread mentions at the first post, and i
have the same sound chip as the thread have mentioned.
now i see that you can solve this problem with setting the "Front"
volume to above 0, but the problem now i'm having is my mixer doesn't
seem to have the "Front" option for me to switch on the Front mixer. i
do find a switch for Front and Headphone, but it doesn't seem to help.
(the Headphone switch works however..)
i can hear sounds with headphones plugged in, but not the speakers.
