Where is this fix that's been releashed. I put Jaunty on a new laptop today and sound, along with volume, is still a huge screwed up mess.
Just what is it with Ubuntu that they can't get sound to work. Incompetence? I'm still seeing postings all over the internet from people having trouble with Ubuntu sound issues.
