Public bug reported:
In order to compile a driver by Canon I need some 32 bit libraries on my
amd64 system.
One of them is libgtk1.2.
I get unresolvend dependencies to libx11-6, libxext6 and libxi6, which are all
already provided by ia32-libs, so
I can't install them (see below, sorry only in german).
'apt-get check' tells me that the libraries are not installable.
Result: apt badly complains about the status of the package maintenance.
Could someone advise me on how to resolve this issue?
