I must agree with Sebastien that nautilus and evince (that I have tested) do use that busy cursor. I wouldn't report this but to the 100 paper cuts now because they have already chosen them for this Ubuntu release. Since it seems that it the 100 paper cuts was successful they may do it for the 10.04 release. If David Siegal does do it again, then I really recommend submitting this bug.
** Summary changed: - double clicking on a document to start program visual feed back + Double clicking on a OpenOffice.org file does not display a busy cursor ** Description changed: - When you double click on i.e. an Open Office document, Open office is - started as it should. Since Open Office takes a few moments to load it - would be great to have some visual feedback with the mouse pointer - saying "it is started", maybe a busy-cursor for a short while, but can - still do other things on the desktop. As for now I always look at my - harddisk diode to see if the double-click was recognized. + hen you double click on i.e. an OpenOffice.org document, OpenOffice.org + is started as it should.
