Hi Jeff,

Yes I am getting almost the same result however I'm not aware that there
is another version of the program running. The application crash is
persistent across reboots and I didn't see any version of kpilot running
under the "top" command. I've incudeld the entire output from gdb...

(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/bin/kpilot
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]
[New Thread 0xb5f2a700 (LWP 25651)]
Error: "var/tmp/kdecache-michael" is owned by uid 1000 instead of uid 0
Error: "/tmp/kdecache-michael" is owned by uid 1000 instead of uid 0
!
! KPilot configuration version 520 newer than stored version 0
<unknown program name>(25651)/: Communication problem with "kpilot" , it
probably crashed.
Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : "Message did
not receive a reply (timeout by message bus) " "

Program exited with code 0377.
(gdb) KCrash: Application 'kpilot' crashing...
Warning: connect() failed: : No such file or directory
KCrash cannot reach kdeinit, launching directly.
Error: "var/tmp/kdecache-michael" is owned by uid 1000 instead of uid 0
Error: "/tmp/kdecache-michael" is owned by uid 1000 instead of uid 0

Thanks Jeff!
Michael
