*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 76976 *** Has been fixed in ubiquity since Sun, 14 Jan 2007 - I'm not sure when the fix made it to the daily lives, but from what I understand, it's no longer an issue with current images. You can workaround the problem in older daily lives using "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ubiquity".
