Hi I'm running into this same problem. The modprobe workaround fixes it temporarily, but no updates have made a permanent fix so far. I tried to follow the rfkill stuff, but the /sys/class/rfkill directory on my laptop is empty. I'm using a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527.
