Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

I had files facebook-1.jpg, facebook-2.jpg, and facebook-3.jpg on my
desktop. I wanted to renumber them, so I right clicked, hit rename, hit
the right arrow key, hit backspace, entered a new number, and hit enter.

What I found was this would often fail -- the number wouldn't change at
all. I discovered if I repeated the same sequence of steps, only really
slowly, it would work.

This has to be some intentional logic here for "don't rename if it's done too
fast", however it clearly shouldn't be applying in this case as it's very
difficult to accidentally rename a file (especially using the unlikely key
sequence of right arrow key, backspace, number)
