The upcoming Karmic release will target a 2.6.31 kernel. Based on this
information I'm inclined to believe this should be resolved since you
mentioned the newer 2.6.30 kernels don't seem to exhibit this issue.
For now I'm going to close. However, feel free to reopen by setting the
status back to New if this reappears under the 2.6.31 kernel with
Karmic. Thanks.
