Public bug reported:
The VGA settings are not set correctly for the Dell Inspiron 1100. When
these settings are updated to a mode that works with the 1100 (773) it
is removed when a new kernel is installed.
I recall something about the team wanting a screenshot of the dev splash
screen on display it didn't work so I've attached one.
