I have no sound on ubuntu. It was like that since it was installed. Before I
installed it when I used it from the liveCD an error occured after it loaded
that said something like this:
can't grab port: blah blah blah(stuff i didn't understand.)
Sound card not found or device busy: yamaha-blah blah.

[ok]
And when I used it there was no sound except for the beep when I start the
computer.
now I have it installed and still have no sound. when I click on the sound
icon I get this error:
No volume control GStreaming plugins and/or devices found.
And every time I open a program that needs sound I get an error like that or
similar.
