Please dont demote it back to new but to incomplete as it has some info but we
need more, I doubt your problem is the same. 64bit most likley is caused by
flash not firefox.
Please post the output of the following command:
apt-cache policy flashplugin-nonfree
** Changed in: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
