Hhmm.... When I put UNR on a USB stick, I used USB ImageWriter from the instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/FromImgFiles .
Did you convert the UNR img file to an iso??? >From the looks of things at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/69754 (near the bottom of the page), it's a little bit of a process to convert the file & get it to work. I used the instructions there & it wasn't that hard.
