Binary package hint: pulseaudio

If you fiddle with balance in gnome-volume-control or pavucontrol the
first time you hear the balance shifting at all is near either end of
the balance slider (when the other speaker should be nearly silent, but
isn't). Also, if you set balance to completely left or right speaker
only, the other speaker isn't silent but playing sound at a lower volume
(but still rather loud).
