Confirming the issue reported in the description.

Test case:

* Open totem and start playing a video file
* Right click on the speaker icon in systray, select "Sound Preferences"
* Switch to "Applications" tab.
* Click on the speaker icon in Totem and click on the slider
* Observe that totem application-specific volume in sound prefs suddenly jumps
to another value
* Probably due to Bug 411042 the master volume also jumps, which can result in
a very lound total volume
* Move the volume slider in totem and observe how the app-specific volume in
sound prefs moves, but not in sync with the totem volume slider.

For now I'm removing the duplicate status to Bug 411042, since these
appear to be 2 different issues

** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 411042
   application-specific volume control affects master volume

** Changed in: totem (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Confirmed
