you're using synaptic? go thru the command promt, much easier to make sure you get the correct updates.

My shockwave flash is already at the latest, but the FF plug-in still says version 9.0 r999. I checked the synaptic package manager, and it also indicated the installed flashplugin-nonfree to be 10.0 r22. I've un-installed and installed again, but still didn't work. FF still shows the older version of the plug-in. -- yahoo mail chat function stuck in load...have java and adobe flash 10. using ubuntu 9.04 firefox 3.0.11 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/403122 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. Status in “firefox-3.0” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 I run the ubuntu 9.04 with mozilla firefox v 3.0.11 Downloaded Adobe Flash 10 and newest Java updates and I still have problems with Yahoo mail. Specifically, when it's supposed to load your on-line contacts for the chat function. When I switch to available it gets stuck on Loading...and never brings up the on-line contacts. The loading portion is after I've logged into Yahoo Mail and is under Chat and Mobile Text in the blue box on the left to be as specific as possible. And yes there are contacts on-line, it just doesn't want to allow the chat function. Any ideas?
