According to upstream developer, this is fixed in xfce4-power-manager
0.8.3. This bug report and all dups indeed refer to xf-p-m 0.8.2. If
this issue is still reproducible with xf-p-m 0.8.3 (can't reproduce
here), please reopen this bug report. Thanks.
