Found in the daily snapshot of Ubuntu 7.04 from 1st February.
When Ubuntu is installed on a Pegasos, there is no bootmanager
installed, and no bootable kernel image is created. A a consequence, the
installed system can not be booted. An information page is showed to the
user, but has false information, suggests to use: 'boot hd1:7 boot/',
which is a directory, not a bootable file.
Recommendation: Debian uses the 'mkvmlinuz' utility to create a bootable
kernel image, combining vmlinux and initrd into one file in
/boot/vmlinuz. Boot information should point to this file.
