Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: network-manager
I use pppd scripts to bring up my ppp0 on EDGE modem but... it would be
nicer to do this in NetworkManager. Is there any possibility to add
support for my modem? I tried to append few lines to
/usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-modem.fdi but it still
doesn't work - NetworkManager says "ignoring due to lack of mobile
broadband capabilties" :-)
I have the latest version of network-manager from PPA
(0.7.1.git.5.272c6a626-0ubuntu1~nm1~jaunty). Attached archive contains
listings of lsusb -v; hal-device; /var/log/syslog.
